Camel yoga posture in the desert

Hi, my name is Margarita Anderson. How I came to find myself on the yoga mat is something that still inspires me.

My yoga journey started in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I have been introduced to traditional Hatha yoga class first. I will never forget those feelings: mindful, relaxed, physically exercised and most importantly stress free. Those feelings stared to grow stronger and stronger, I started to feel healthier and happier after each practice till I finally decided that I would take a step towards chasing my dreams to become a Yoga Instructor and start spreading world of yoga and sharing my experience with people around the world.

I have been studying in India, the motherland of Yoga. The knowledge of local teachers is free from polluted interpretations and distortions. Learning yoga from a school, where the guiding source is a living enlightened masters and monks is like drinking water from the river at its origin where it is so pure.

Through my Yoga classes the aims to clearly explain the what, why’s and how’s of asana, breathing, meditation and yogic philosophy making the practice approachable for everyone, of every level and of every walk of life. I share this knowledge with all my students, so they can practice wisely, sustainably and mindfully.

My emphasis on paying attention and my insistence on each individual respecting their own uniqueness encourages them to love and celebrate who they are. It’s this love of their own unique perfection that creates true change in my students, so they can connect with more grace to themselves, to others and to the world.
