The course is designed to nurture new mums and provide a safe environment for them to heal, recover and reconnect with their bodies. Besides, the course gives the oportunity and shows new ways to enjoy and bond with their babies and to meet and connect with other news mums. Whether you are new to yoga or were a committed participant before you had your child, baby yoga is an excellent way to get you on a structured postnatal wellness path. 

What is included in the Mum and Baby Postnatal Yoga course?

  • Gentle and smoothing Yoga poses and movements focused on the muscles affected by giving birth
  • Traditional yoga poses and breathing sequences are modified so that you can practice yoga while holding/rocking your baby 
  • Playful and joyful Baby yoga poses and Baby massage to become more aware of babies body and their actions, which can encourage them to move and get mobile 
  • Be ready to learn new baby songs, games and movements during the course
  • Meeting and networking with other mums from the course
  • It is a great way to make new friends for both mums and babies
Baby and Yoga Kent

Mum and Baby Postnatal Yoga will help you stay active and start exercising in your postpartum period. In fact, it can even help with your mood, lower your stress level, which is important in the postnatal period

You and Your Baby will learn:

  • Yoga poses which help to improve sleeping patterns both in duration and frequency
  • Movements and stretches for infants aid indigestion, constipation, and relieve gas and colic
  • Yoga poses which help babies to develop their babies body
  • Playful yoga songs and activities (and seeing other babies) help make the whole experience fun! Including tummy time
  • Soothing techniques which will help mum and their babies to calm themselves and reduce the stress
  • Gentle stretches for your postpartum body which will help you to promote your general health
 
In line with social distancing guidelines, numbers will be limited, therefore reservation of the course in advance is essential.
